Dear Forum Members:
How do I determine if Microsoft Dynamics BC is properly configured to apply freight tax fees?
Is there a place I can look to confirm such configurations?

Hi, The link Daniele gave is the Indian localization function. If you use a version other than India, you cannot use this function.
As far as I know, the handling of additional fees such as freight is managed through Item Charge in BC. You can check whether the following functions meet your needs.
Use Item Charges to Account for Additional Trade Costs:

Hope this helps.

You can also add a line on your purchase invoice with the type G/L to post additional fees that is a part of a sales or purchase transaction.
The item charges will effect the item cost, using a separate G/L line will not. So there might be scenarios where you chose either of the methods depending on your needs.
