Install Curtis Monroe CCO (common control objects) OPOS package  1.9 or 1.11.  Don't use anything above 1.11 with RMS.

Then see if the scale works.   You might need an older version of the opos driver.

I have tried both ver 1.9 and 1.11 but did not work.

now somehow I am getting another message from RMS.

"Waring 921 : A scale OPOS communication failure occured.

    Do you wish to countiue?"

    what is the communication error?

and anyone has setup RMS with  Cas PD2 yet?

Make sure the name that you specified is appearing in the registry of the PC. Some drivers require you to be case sensitive with the device name. For example, if you use Avery-Weightronix OPOS driver and in the driver you write "Scale" as the name it will automatically save it as "scale"; the driver prevents you from using capital letters. When you put the name in manager make sure its the same as in the registry or RMS won't be able to find it... Weird because some are not case sensitive and others are.

Do NOT use CAS' driver, UNINSTALL IT!! use any other opos tool to register your cas device

Did you get the CAS PDII scale working?

Yes, I got it to work when I uninstalled all the CAS drivers and utilities, and registered the OPOS device through WeighTronix's utility  (a competitor of CAS)

    Hello Haemin Choi,

The "Warning 922: the scale OPOS driver was not found" is indicating that RMS is unable to properly see the scale. Normally these issues are linked to the OPOS drivers not working properly with RMS. You can test the OPOS drivers of the scale with RMS by doing the following:

    1. Open the Start Menu.

    2. Select "All Programs"

    3. Find a folder called "Microsoft Dynamics RMS" and open it.

    4. Once the folder is open select the "Configure Microsoft OPOS Service Objects" option.

By using the Configure Microsoft OPOS Service Objects you can select the Device Type and the OPOS driver name and test the drivers. If the test fails this indicates that the OPOS drivers…

    A. Do not work with RMS because of the version of drivers.

    B. The OPOS drivers in general are not communicating with RMS.

Until the OPOS drivers officially can past the "Check Health" test using the "Microsoft OPOS Service Objects" tool the scale will never be able to properly work with RMS. (Note: Some scales will work even if they pass the “Check Health” test in the Microsoft OPOS Server Objects tool. If this comes true for your issue then continue to use the scale as normal.)

If you would like to know how to configure a scale with RMS or at least have a general understanding you can use the following webpage:
