we are currently running Dynamics CRM Online (v9.1).
I know that when you run Dynamics CRM online the limitation is 7 components.
In other articles I also found that when you run on-prem there are some options to increate the number of components.
My question is, is there a difference between the limitation for a System Dashboard and Custom Dashboard?
Unfortunately I can't find any document from Microsoft about this.
Within our company a user created a Custom Dashboard that contains 12 components.
He did select the "4 column overview" structure and updated it accordingly without any issues.
When I try to re-build this dashboard to a System Dashboard the limitation of 7 components kicks in.
Does anyone know if there is documentation available that confirms this behavior?
