We have a sports business where if you buy any boot, binding and ski (package) you can get it at a set price.

All items have a qty and sku and are usually part of a matrix.

How does a cashier take three items in POS and assign one final price to all items?

There is typically multiple packages on an order.

    You can use a discount .  You could also use an assembly item that then combines these items as far as price but still shows them separately on the transaction.  There is a another option called kit items but I don't think it would work well for you process.  

    You would have to make an assembly item for each combination.  Don't know how many you have but can be time consuming.

    We have an Add On called RMS Kit Builder.  It allows you to quickly create a kit item (not to be confused with an RMS kit item), made up of multiple components and sell it at a fixed price:
