Hello everybody!

I've a dude about it, if I've a JS in CRM 2011 and want use it in CRM 2016, it will work? Because I'm triying make a new JS in CRM 2016, but in the job they ask me "and why you don't use the old script?" XD.

I think that I cannon't or probabily there are some codes that changed with the versión upgrading, but I don't know if it's true or not.

For your time Thanks You!.

    Hi Maurizio,

Most of the functions of javascript remains the same.

you can definitely use it - its just that if you have been using Odata earlier - you must replace it with WebApi.

Apart from it i dont think there would be an issue until ofcourse once you use and get error otherwise. i would suggest you to have a look on the SDK and also on technet.

    Hi Maurizio,

90% of code should be work.

    Proceed as follows:

    1) use existing code

    2) if you get an error, debug and fix it

    3) if you need some help we are here :-)

    Hope it helps!

    Francesco

    Thanks man.

A little dude, I didn't get the Js CRM2011 codes yet, but I can use the crm and I've seen that I can stay in "Stage3- Identify inssuries" and my client got somes "economical problems" and told me to "freeze the selling / On Hold it", so there I can select a option that said:

"On Hold?" (Y) - (N) ; If I select (Y), I can "jump" to Stage8- On Hold and write the reason for that.

So... I found that Xrm.Page.data.process.setActiveStage(Id, Function) can "jumps" to previus actived stages by process...

--> How I can active a "future" stage? Ejm: If he select "On Hold", it apply that Stage8 get active and eneable the use of .setActiveStage() for jump to him.

    Hi Maurizio,

You might also consider a branching BPF - that would work for subsequent stages. It seems it is the easiest solution, where no dev required.

    Thanks

No need to create new BPF, You just have to add Condition (Branch) i.e like if else condition.

Suppose If someone selects "yes" then it will skip the stage2 and  it should be move on directly stage3 and if selects "No" all stages should be shown stage1, stage2,stage3.

You can have a look on following link. Hope it may help you :)
