Hi all,

I have one CRM that is on version 8 which has 18355 contacts. I have another CRM that is on version 9 which has 17210 contacts. Now my problem is I have to import 1145 records in CRM version 9 that are not present on it from CRM version 8. How can I fulfill my this task? Can one help me to sort out this issue?

Thanks and Regards,

AW

    Hi Abdul,

You can use the SSIS KingswaySoft Adaptor and Upsert the contacts in version 9. Upserting only creates new ones and doesnt create records which already exists www.kingswaysoft.com/.../New-CRM-SDK-Feature---Upsert

    Hello Abdul,

There are many ways you can create.

You can create alternate keys in v9 based on identity of records , now write a console application to get the data from v8 and prepare a loop to create in v9 . Make sure you implement try catch block to handle the duplicate keys error in a loop based on the matching records.

If  your v8 instancee having all the record you can bulk delete all the records from v9 then using console get the data from v8 and create all records.

You can also use tool like kingswaysoft , SSIS to migrate the data as well.

You may also  use configuration migration tool which has provided in SDK.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Thomas,

As you know, we are developer and we don't have these options.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi Goutam,

I think, I have another best option. I create console application that reads data from dynamics 365 CRM version 8 and compare it with dynamics 365 CRM version 9 through emailaddress1. If no such record found than create record in dynamics 365 CRM version 9. Is it?

    Thanks and Regards,

    AW

    Hi Abdul,

These tools are completely free unless you want to automate your SSIS packages
