Save filter settings on worksheet page using extension

Hi All,

We are using BC dynamics 365 web client.

We have a client interested in saving filter settings on "Register Customer Payments" page.

It is not possible to save filter settings on worksheet pages as on List pages. So, is it possible to add this feature to worksheet developing an extension? If it is possible, could you please tell me where to start or a code sample...etc.

Thanks and Regards,

Regards,

Nalin.

    Hi Josh,

Thanks for the reply. Actually I'm familiar with AL Extension development. But I can't find any code for saving filter views on list pages. It seems to be a core feature. so if you can provide some code sample ,It's highly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Nalin.

In this case you will want to get the source code of the existing page and drop it onto a new worksheet object. If you have vs code already add an extension called AZ AL. Once you have downloaded symbols you can use that extension to open the .app files and browse the standard code. Find the current page and copy/paste into your new object file
