Microsoft Dynamics - Get events from an external source

I'm looking for an ability to register data from an external system into Microsoft Dynamics CRM For example, in Salesforce CRM there is 'Platform Event' which is used to get an event from an external source and trigger a UI change in accordance.

What's the equivalent in Microsoft Dynamics CRM?

Thanks for the reply.

No, Salesforce Platform Events are just an automated way to send and receive data to/from external applications.

For example it can be set up so that when a customer address or any other data is updated it will automatically send the updated data to an external API.

The external API will just "listen" and will automatically receive data as soon as an update to the desired fields is done.

The same way Salesforce can accept incoming data from external sources.

Webhooks can be registered in CRM dynamics to send data to external system
