Picking instructions

We have certain picking instructions based on customer. Is there a field and methid to print them in the picking slip or show on screen for the warehouse staff. Thinking i need to add a custom field.

D365 supply chain management, current version released.

Hello,

You can add the instruction as the attachment of note type, and enable printing in Form setup. Then the note will be printed on picking list.

In addition to Mattguo's response, since you are mentioning that the instructions are based/defined on a customer level you might want to enable the "Copy notes when transferring to Sales order" as well. This parameter can be found via the accounts receivable parameters form. In addition, if you want to display the note types via the mobile device as well make sure that you add the note type via the warehouse management parameters form as well [WMP > General > Mobile device > Mobile device note type].
