Hi,

As checking an Item ledger entries, I found manys kind of Document Type and some Document Type I am not sure when it will posted to Item ledger entries. For example (Transfer shipment; Transfer receipt; service shipment; Services invoice; Posted assemby; Inventory services; Inventory shipment, Direct transfer?

And is there any source for explaining these type of document type in Item ledger entries.

Phoebe,

Transfer Shipment and Receipt occur when a User Posts a Transfer Order document. This is a transfer of Item Inventory between2 locations.

Service Shipment and Invoice related to the Service Management granule of BC.

Posted Assembly are transaction from the Assembly Order postings that will consume Assembly BOM components and add the Assembled Output to inventory.

Direct Transfer is a Transfer Order posted together the Shipment and Receipt all at once.
