‘Start Menu’ style navigation for CRM2013

Hello, we have been trying to integrate the ‘Start Menu’ style navigation for CRM2013 from Scot Durow's post :

community.dynamics.com/.../start-menu-style-navigation-for-crm2013.aspx

unfortunately, it doesn't show the 'Activities' navigation button on the 'Site map' navigation part. anyone have any experience with it?

    this is to show that the activity button does exist .

    installed the solution on a clean crm online instance.

    any help would be greatly appreciated :)
