Immediately after upgrading to GP2010, shortcuts on the Home navigation pane were present, then they mysteriously disappeared for one user the next day and another user two days later. However, shortcuts for both users on other panes (Financial, Purchasing, etc.) remain.
I could recreate them from the GP10 server, but there must be some explanation. I'm hearing that these shortcuts may be stored somewhere in the DYNAMICS database.

This turned out to be an Advanced SmartList issue corrected in ASL04.01.004.exe from Encore Business Solutions.
