The error in your screenshot indicates a SQL Server connection issue during Business Central installation
Run the installer as Administrator Right-click the setup file → Run as administrator. This bypasses UAC-related permission issues.
Use a SQL user with sysadmin permissions If you're using Windows authentication, make sure your Windows user is explicitly added as sysadmin in SQL Server — not just through a group.

Turn off UAC temporarily Open Control Panel → User Accounts → Change User Account Control settings → Slide to "Never notify" → Reboot and retry install.
Ensure SQL Server is running and accessible Open SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and confirm you can manually connect to the master database.
