Solution import failure. Error code 8004801E

I have a unmanaged Base solution with version 1.0.0.1 in production environment, and i have to import a patch solution which is also unmanaged from other environment with version 1.9.0.1 into production environment.

So i changed the solution version from 1.0.0.1 to 1.9.0.0 in production in order to import the patch. And then the imported got failed with an error "Import failed: An error occurred in ValidateAppElementPluginOnCreate.

I had no plugins in my solution. 

I have few custom tables, canvas app, canvas page and cloud flows in the patch solution.

Can anyone suggest what is wrong with the import process and how to overcome this.

    Could you take printouts of what's in the solution you're trying to import?

    Probably appeared to download the log, share it with us.

    Have you tried not changing the version of the solution to 1.9.0.0? I don't think that's why, but...

    In fact you don't have plugins/assembly in your solution? Both in the solution already imported in PRD and in the solution you want to import?

    Hi Maneesh,

    Can you try to deploy your solution with Power platform Pipeline ?

    Else, if you import manually your solution, try to edit the version to 1.0.0.9 not 1.9.0.0

    Hi Graib,

    Tried the way you suggested but no luck.

    It shows, "Solution manifest import: FAILURE: Patch version 1.9.0.1 is invalid for parent version 1.0.0.9", in the error log.

    I suggest that you deploy with Power platform Pipeline, That can resolve the error.

    Let me know If you are intrested to share with you the steps of configuration.

    There is one plugin in PRD, but that is not used anyway. And there is no plugin in the importing file.
