Not picking full LP - Raw material pick

Hi everyone, I have run into the following issue with regards to raw material picking.   I want to pick the full LP and not just what the work has been created for.

On the released product > warehouse management fast tab > I have the material picking in license plate location toggled to yes.

My location directives have been set up to move material to a staging location and then to the production input location.
Work is created properly.
When I proceed to move material with my mobile app, the pick is for the /Required Qty/.  330L

I then scan my LP - and it advised me the qty I need to move is 2700 L as it is the full LP. (this is what I want).

However, then I get to my PUT and it will only move the pick of the required QTY 330L.

I need the full LP to move and cannot find what set up I am missing?  Can anyone provide help?  Thanks!
I have the same question (0)

    Hi JGagnon2012!
    I've replicated your scenario, and the full license plate is moving to the production location.

    Work created:

    When doing the picking to stage, it shows the following:

    PICK // PUT
    //

    It shows the required quantity as 300 ea, but the worker picks the full LP that contains 1000 ea.

    The same happens when working with the stage location:
    Pick from stage // Put to PROD.
    //

    Did you finish the last transaction ??

    Mariano Melo  - thank you for the reply.  Yes - I have tried it about 25 times with the same result.   It will only move the 330 L (in my example).

    The mobile device is asking me to confirm a target license plate after I pick the full LP - this is where it seems to fall apart.

    Why do I need to confirm a target LP when I move material?

    I think you maybe have this activated in your mobile device menu item:

    HI,

    This is because the BOM line qty for the raw material is reserved for 330 L as you need 330 L as per your BOM and that is why the system is picking 330 only and not the qty of the entire license plate.

    Note the balance stock is already in the same location and is physically moved as the work is closed. (Look at BOM and check inventory transactions)

    Balance stock will be reserved for the next release and in that case, no work will be generated as you already have enough in the input location of the machine.

    The staging option is used in cases where you cannot measure the exact qty you need while doing the picking, so it makes sense to move the entire packing unit (Drum, Pallet)
