Hello,
In the D365 Admin Center, I have an instance named the same as my production environment instance with (Upgrade) after it and version of CDS, see below. What is this upgrade instance for?
Name Instance Type Version
Example1 Production Dynamics 365, version 9.0
Example1 (Upgrade) Default Common Data Service
Example1-Sandbox Sandbox Dynamics 365, version 9.0
Thanks
Ok thanks for the info but still why do I have the word (Upgrade) in the name. Mine is named like this: {Azure AD tenant name} (Upgrade) Instant Type (default)
Hello ,
You can find more details about the environment in the below MSFT link.
docs.microsoft.com/.../environments-overview
A single default environment is automatically created by Power Apps for each tenant and shared by all users in that tenant. Whenever a new user signs up for Power Apps, they are automatically added to the Maker role of the default environment. The default environment is created in the closest region to the default region of the Azure AD tenant.
Note
No users will be added to the Environment Admin role of the default environment automatically. For more information, see Administer environments in Power Apps.
The default environment is limited to 32GB of storage capacity. In case you need to store more data, you can create a production environment. See Provisioning a new environment.
The default environment is named as follows: "{Azure AD tenant name} (default)"
Hi Partner
The Default Environment name is generated automatically by PowerApps service when you sign up for PowerApps.
