Sizing server for MR

We have a customer that is setting up a test environment for migrating from FRx to MR. They plan on running MR on its own server and are trying to figure out how to size it.

The customer has 60+ companies in GP and many many users. They will be using Data Mart in MR. They are asking what exactly is stored in the MR database and on the MR server. Is it just storing the report formats or is it also storing the actual reports that have been run along with the data for these reports. I know that the Data Mart stores summarizes data for the reports. I haven't found anything that specifically mentions what is stored.

    Bill,

    I examined our MR SQL environment and I believe that it stores the reports and reporting formats.  There are some tables in the MR database that appear to have report data stored in them.  We only run MR for a single company so our DB is sized rather small.  I couldn't find a listing of tables but if you need them I may be able to get you a list of what tables are currently in our MR.

    Hi Jonathan,

    So MR is actually storing reports with the report data?  Are you using Data Mart or Legacy? I know that the Data Mart is supposed to be storing summarized data.
