product attributes are not available when creating a new product

Hello,

I have created a new product category and assigned some attributes to my new category (see screenshot below)

When I create a new one and give it this category, the attributes are not inherited (See the 2 screenshots below)

For your information, this is not the category that was filled in for my Procurement categories.

    You need to associate the category hierarchy to 'Procurement category hierarchy' or 'Retail category hierarchy'. And if you associate the category hierarchy to 'Procurement category hierarchy' ensure that you add the attributes from Procurement and sourcing module and likewise for retail ( Not from Product information management module), then it will work.

    Thanks Sneha - I have been trying to work out why this wasn't working for a few hours. Once I opened the hierarchy from the procurement menu it worked fine. Very strange
