How to setup Security Role to enable viewing Boms, grouping and firming PO's

Hi Community,

I have a specific issue. I have a custom role for Procurement, and that role needs to be able to read only BOM's and group and firm planned purchase orders.
U went to Options - Security Diagnostics on Planned purchase orders and tried to cycle all of default roles and dutyies, but without success.

How do I add Firm, Firm all, Maintain - Group to a single Role?

An additional note. I read the reply from Neeraj after I posted my reply. Note that in this case the addition of form controls will not grant access to the menu items. Then still, the options are not visible.

I see I forgot to list the Group button.

Group > MenuItemAction ReqTransPoMarkSumUp

Privilege:

Group planned orders (ReqTransPoMarkSumUp)

Duty:

Maintain planned orders (ReqPlannedOrdersMaintain)

Hi E-Man,

The security diagnostics does not show details about menu items on the form, on for the current selected form. In this case, there are two action menu items used with the following details.

Firm > MenuItemAction ReqTransPoMarkFirm

Privilege:

Firm planned orders (ReqTransPoMarkFirm)

Duties:

Maintain firming of planned orders (ReqPlannedOrderFirmingMaintain)

Maintain firming of planned orders (ReqPlannedPurchaseOrderFirmingMaintain)

Firm all > MenuItemAction

Privilege:

Firm all planned orders (ReqTransPoMarkFirmAll)

Duties:

Maintain firming of planned orders (ReqPlannedOrderFirmingMaintain)

Maintain firming of planned orders (ReqPlannedPurchaseOrderFirmingMaintain)

Hi E-Man,

If the requirement is to have only these three options in a single role. Prepare a new privilege with Display menu item : ReqPOGridView

And then Select Controls and add references > add only three button as shown in the image, grant update access.

After creating the privilege, you can directly add to role or create a duty (best practice)> add newly created privilege and then assign to role.
