Manage Roles - Basic User

Hi everyone,

I'm in doubt with the roles 'Basic user'. When I create a new user and I manage his roles I set the roles according to the profile of my user.

I've never checked the Basic user but some user in CRM has this roles checked....

What's the meaning of this roles? It's simply the opposite of Admin or not?

    I'd noticed this recently myself. Several new users were given this role. This used to be named "Common Data Service User" and is intended to give users a basic level of access to system tables such as Contact, Account, Activity, and some others needed for apps to properly load. The privileges are limited in scope to the user-level, so it's unlikely to cause many issues with security, but we actually modified the role to remove the Delete privileges for some tables.

    Hi,

    Basic User role is not opposite of Admin. This role has only PRV to access the CRM.
