How to automatically delete recurring system job

Hello,

We recently updated our Insights solution with our CRM environment (to version 4.0) and now there is a system job that runs repeatedly that never ran before and it's filling up our system job log - it is as follows:

Insideview.Crm.Package.Plugin.InsightsPostInstallPluginForRetrieveMultipleSolutionEvent: RetrieveMultiple of solution

This happens successfully multiple times per minute - is there a way to create a process to automatically delete successful system jobs?

Thanks!

Bryan

    HI Bryan,

If the system job is generated via workflow, you can enable the checkbox in the workflow to delete the job post completion of work.

For recurring, we only need to delete the completed jobs. Hence you can proceed to use bulk delete option to delete completed jobs as below.

Settings >> Data Management >> Bulk Record Deletion >> New

In the workflow there is an option called "Automatically delete completed workflow job"

    Hi Bryan

You could set up a recurring Bulk Delete to remove the successful systems jobs being produced. The Bulk Delete wizard uses the same logic as Advanced Find so you can ensure you only remove specific system jobs (you are also able to preview before setting it to run).

It does seem excessive to be producing so many system jobs, so it might be worth raising a support ticket with Microsoft to ensure this is working as expected and if they have any suggestions to reduce the consumption of system resources.
