Dear helpdesk,
Good day!
Just as the title goes, I want to know if it's possible for us to export multiple quotes including linked products and products description in excel format?
Now, in the exported excel file, I can only see total price or status for each quote, but can't confirm what products are included in the quote, nor does the product description.
But when exporting a separate quote in word template, we can see the info.
Could you kindly confirm it? Thanks in advance!
Hi Lars,
No worries, I just resubmitted this question on the forum.
And add that I'm using Dynamics 365 CRM now. Sorry for not giving enough info at the beginning.
Thanks & Best Regards.
Hi Audrey,
If you did not get input from some other sides, then would you mind re-submitting this again? And this time I will not mess up your question by answering around the wrong product. I am sorry, its entirely my fault for mistaking the product, and "hijacking" this, so I do hope you can open the same question, and sorry again for the confusion!
Hi Lars,
Thank you for your follow-up.
May I know if there is any update about this issue?
Kinsest Regards.
Hi Audrey,
I am so sorry, i did begin to suspect that I was replying to something else. I will let people from the CRM world follow up from here and if you don't get any replies, then I hope you are OK to open this request again, and next time I will check better what product this is reported from. Sorry for the confusion!
Lars
Hi Lars,
Thank you for your instruction!
I'm using Dynamic CRM webpage, thus can't find the same option.
Any method to realize my purpose in Dynamic CRM webpage?
Kindest regards,
Hi Audrey,
What I mean, is that if you open a Sales Quote, then click Print:
It will open the request page, which will filter on the current Sales Quote:
But you can reset those filter values, then it will print all quotes. You can see on preview first if it has all the data you need. If it does, then print it again and this time choose "Microsoft Excel" from the print drop-down:
Only if "Excel" is missing here, then you need to go to Report Layouts.
Would this give you the data you need, and also confirm that this is Business Central that you are using?
Hope that helps?
Hi Lars
Thank you for your reply.
>Go to a Sales Quote and print it. Then on the request page, remove the filter(s), so the report will print all quotes.
Could you give me some screenshots for these steps? Actually, I'm not sure if you are saying "Quote"→"Run a report"?
If it is, I tried running it and can only see quote name with total price, no products info included.
>"Report Layout Selection"
For this, I tried searching in our dynamics but couldn't find this setting.
Could you kindly confirm it? Thanks in advance!
Good day!
In the standard I don't know of any ways to do this. Of course one can develop some routines that can export anything to Excel, but then you need development time and license. But maybe this will work for you:
Go to a Sales Quote and print it. Then on the request page, remove the filter(s), so the report will print all quotes.
Then on the Print dropdown select "Microsoft Excel". This should export each quote to a separate sheet.
Note that the print dropdown does not have Excel as an option you may need to go to "Report Layout Selection", and for report 1304 change it back to RDLC (Built in), as at least in my system it was set to a Word layout.
I hope this can work for you?
