Dear all,

I want to become Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 certified. By googling I found this site: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-au/dynamics-certification.aspx

Under Dynamics CRM there are 4 Exams to take. Do I need to take them all or do I simply need to do I exam to MS certified for CRM.

    There are four CRM 2011 certifications,  three core exams and one developer exam 

    MB2-866 – Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Customization and Configuration

    MB2-867 – Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Installation and Deployment

    MB2-868 – Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Applications

    Exam MB2-876: Extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

    You only have to pass one to become certified in CRM 2011 and you really only want to pass the exams in areas in which you will use the system.

    MB2-867 – Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Installation and Deployment

    this exam focuses on knowledge you will need if you are going to install CRM, this isn't used by most people


    MB2-868 – Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Applications

    This exam goes through all the main functionality of using CRM and understanding the different parts such sales, marketing, service and the core account/contact functionality in CRM

    MB2-866 – Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Customization and Configuration

    this exam focuses on customizing CRM mainly using the GUI and not code.  It goes through creating new entities, editing forms and views.  Creating workflows, reports, dashboards.


    I would recommend the applications and customization exams as the most useful and would start with those.
