Customer self service portal : how to add filters

Dear Community, 

I've recently launched the first version of my customer self service portal, and already have some evolutions to add.

I've been requested by customers to add filters/search text fields in the lists in order for them to look for a specific record, such as a specifi order n°.

How could that be managed ? I couldn't find anything on that topic.
