Anyone using Dynamics CRM for a Staffing company?

I own a small search firm and am considering making the transition away from my current ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and considering MS Dynamics.

Any insight if this solution is currently being used in this capacity and feedback/thoughts would be great.

Hello EnSearch1,

My opignion is Microsoft CRM is a great platform to migrate legacy systems too, register and programatically access data to achieve the companies goals, but sometimes you need to hook other systems or program your own addons to perform additional tasks like accountancy, project planning, document management, automatic staff matching etc.

Overall it depends a bit on the requirements of the organization, but I have seen Microsoft implementations for staffing companies though.

Thank you for the reply. I have been drawn to the solution because it uses outlook as the main program.

I still have questions about the full functionality but will probably reach out to a sales rep to get more information.

Its definitely possible to use CRM in this way as the latest xRM demo VPC has CRM configured for recruiting.

It's not so much of a product than a proof of concept on how Dynamics CRM can be used. The VPC was made available at the recent xRM roadshow so if your Microsoft partner went to it, they should have a copy.

Hi MIke,

Yep - I think it is a great fit for a staffing company. We have implemented it with a recruiting / staffing company and in both implementations only out of the box functionality were used -- great fit.

We implemented Dynamics CRM for a staffing company last year. The key function is the ability to search based on criteria captured in the system, getting you to candidates faster, and to the client with appropriate candidates. ROI for our client was less than 60 days. We would be happy to show you the functionality.
