Copy & Paste of image in Notes area of Timeline not working for non-sysadmin users

Hi everyone

The ability to copy and paste images in a new Note on the Timeline, stopped working for end-users. 

It used to work just fine.

Anyone else seeing this issue? Or do you perhaps know if there's a specific permission needed for this to work?

    Hi Rean,

    There was an old bug (Sep 2020) around this but that has since been fixed and deployed to Online.  Would you happen to know if the impacted security roles have the RICH TEXT ATTACHMENT privilege set under Custom Entities ex: 

    RichTextAttachment.PNG

    If this is not the issue, what happens for the users where this is experienced i.e. do they simply paste and the image is not inserted after a short period of time or are they receiving some type of exception etc.?  If you can provide more information as to exactly what the user is experiencing if not related to Rich Text Attachment privilege, that may be helpful.
