Is there any issue with changing a Payment Type on a Purchase Invoice that was created from a Purchase Order.  Does not appear that there is a default payment type under the vendor?

you are free to change the payment type. the payment type could be default from vendor card, which is only a global value for that vendor. e.g.  A vendor was set up with payment type check, but user can change it to cash, eft, credit card etc for a specific invoice.

    hope it helps

Hi, no problem, this data will be saved in Posted Purchase invoice and Vendor Ledger Entries after posting and will not affect any financial data.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

It can be changed on each Invoice as needed to indicate correct payment terms. Even if on PO or in Vendor card it is different.
