"Out of Balance" Error

Hi:

Even though someone imported journal entries, the company is set up for two decimal places.

Yet, upon trying to post a journal entry, we're getting an error saying that the document is out of balance by 0.0000000014 and to check the document number, posting date, etc.

The exact error message is shown below.

How does this get fixed?

    John, go back to your Excel or source of the imported data.  You have data that has more decimal places than you are seeing. Fix them there and re-import or type the amounts for the document number listed.

    Hi, I agree with Kim, this is clearly a problem in Excel.

    And I don't know what tool you used to import. If it is custom, you should use the Round method when importing.
