Uninstall MS CRM Outlook Client and RollUps

Hello,

I have uninstalled the MS CRM 2011 Outlook Client from one system but noticed that there are still some RollUps installed. If I try to uninstall the RollUps I get an errror message

"Micorsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlok is not installed on this compoputer of the update is incompatible wit the current installtion of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook."

Is there any way to still get rid of the RollUps and start new installation from scratch.

Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

An ideal practice of uninstalling CRM for Outlook would be to delete the Update Rollups and Hotfixes first and then uninstall the CRM for Outlook client.

Now that you have deleted the CRM for Outlook client first, just ensure if it was deleted properly. You can verify the same by using Microsoft Fixit  support.microsoft.com/.../Program_Install_and_Uninstall

Use all the recommended options unit you get to the page which shows you the list of programs installed on the Computer. If you don't find CRM in that list, CRM client is completely deleted from that system. You will have to install CRM for Outlook again and this new installation should work fine.

I would also like to know the reason behind uninstalling the CRM for Outlook client.

    Thanks,

    Sneha P

Thank you for your information and support but unfortunatelly the the Microsoft Fix did not solve the problem and still all the roll ups are still installed.

Sometimes the reason for uninstalling are stupid. In this case I wanted to re-install to create a individual documenation for the installation.

    l. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\MSCRM_Setup

Thank you - this works very smoothly. I was having problems with a .NET error every time I launched Outlook 2013 - CRM was mentioned in the first few lines of the error details.

Removing CRM 2011 and re-installing has eliminated the error.
