Hi All

I'm having a larger problem with one of my customers which is using RMS. The transaction have been transferred from Store to HQ Manager - but for some of the transactions they are ONLY posted in the transaction table and not posted in the sales table etc.

Anyone who can help me out of this??

Will be highly appreciated

Carsten

It means data is partially transferred and probably 401 worksheet got disconnected while processing data.

So one should make sure that 401 worksheet re-issued on back date

I am not quite sure why you cant see the From date in 401 worksheet. This available from RMS version 2.0 and we are using it for a long time.

When you create a worksheet, this option will not be there. But after creating the worksheet, you can see this option on upper right hand corner.

Yes this is also what I'm suspecting - but I'll as well expect it then should roll back everything. Since even I'm doing the 401 worksheet again nothing will happen as the transaction already are in the transaction table.

I can see the from date in the 401 worksheet once it's completed and they have tried to back date but nothing happen with this - I think it's because the data already are in HQ manager.

Are you positive that the data exists in the SO database?

What you are describing is an configuration issue in SO with credit cards also, is why I ask.

Yes the transactions are in transactions header, transactions entry & tender tables. But they are missing in sales tables :( Can't find the reason for this so we are going to enter transactions manually in SQL to get the system right.

Data will update in following tables in HQ. there are some more tables but in your case, which data missing in which table?

    -Transaction

    -Transactionentry

    -Batch

    -Dailysales

    -Item

    -Journal

    -Tenderentry

If you cannot find the from data option, the best way to backdate is to copy any completed 401 worksheet before this issue happened. (probably one day before) from HQ manager and apply it.

The data is in ALL tables except from daily sales. We have tried to backdate the 401 many times and this will not bring in the data unfortunately.

Ok i can suggest one more thing before you start inputting sales manually.

You can update the daily sales table in the store database to get the data back to HQ

By performing above DBtimestamp will get updated on all missing data.

Then you can issue a 401 worksheet (one day before) and hopefully it should pickup missing data in HQ.

Here the script you can try. Backup the store database first

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    update dailysales set storeid=storeid

    where date>='2013-07-16 00:00:00.000" and date<='2013-07-17 00:00:00.000'

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Change the date greater than and less than  for the data set you need to transfer to HQ.  By running above script, DBtimestamp will get changed and this will trigger 401 to pickup these data.

Thanks for the above - I'll discuss this script with the client and let them decide what they prefer!
