Purchase Orders - Product life cycle

Hi

Dynamics 365 has so many modules and can be very confusing.

I have a simply requirement from a customer to create procurement and sourcing module. This is for
creating "Quoutes - Purchase Orders - Bills - Invoices".
We currently have Field Service and this has "Inventory and Purchasing" which i believe can be used for this ?

D365 has the "Operations" module which i believe offers products and services life cycle from product, receipt, invoicing, and processing of payment.

What's the difference between the modules when it comes to products life cyle. Again, my requirement is as follows :
"Qoutes -> Purchase Orders -> Bills -> Invoices" ?

Thanks,

    In latest 365 v9 - i dont see any module as operations.

    If you are requirement is simply to use Customer/leads > opportuities > quotes > order> invoices etc. You can simply use Sales module. ( correct me if am wrong)

    and moreover you can always move sitemap entities and groups here and there as per your requirement so you dont need to worry.

    mark my suggestion as verified if this helps you.

    Thanks Rawish, I will just group the entities using the sitemap
