Multicurrency Exchange Rate Table Setup

Hi,

I used Exchange rate table to convert USD to CAD daily.

But Expiration Date for Rate everyday is given just one day after.

In SQL server or Rates table I can change for old entries but for new entries I need to know how we setup.

I want to make expiration day fixed for whole financial year.

For Example: Now we are in June 2017, I want all the exchange rates expiration to be on 31st March 2018.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks,

Kumar.

From your question I think you asking if you may set an exchange rate to cover a period of one year.

By setting the start and end dates and clicking the [insert] button, you may do this as shown:

    2017_2D00_06_2D00_21_5F00_16_2D00_33_2D00_33.jpg

after inserting we can see the date is now covering until next year...

    Thank you Tim.

I know about this but in this case:

Everyday it adds the rate automatically and I need to change the expiration date for the rate every day.

So I want to make the expiration date default to Mar 31st for every new rate added everyday.

    Thank you.

    Kumar.

    Hi

You will not be able to make GP automatically select Mar 31.

You can choose rate frequency = none which will turn off the expiration date, as shown here

    annually.PNG

    or

you can choose Annually.  That will make the rates last a year.

    or

you can choose miscellaneous which lets you set the number of days before expiration, but that would need to go down by 1 every day until you got to March 31.

I would be tempted to go with annual, and still enter a rate every day.
