Currently, if a supplier ships the order to the wrong address, the entire PO needs to be deleted and a new one created to make a correction. This is not an acceptable way to handle a common issue with suppliers.
Allow user to un-check the drop-shipment box on the sales order to unlink the purchase order
Once the user unchecks the box, they should be able to change the shipping address on the purchase order and create reservation entries against the PO from the sales order.

you can not uncheck the drop shipment box to make changes to the shipping address. what you can do is delete the sales lines from the purchase order, which disconnects the link between previous PO and SO.

then modify the shipping to customer on the PO.

Then get the drop shipment again for the correct customer. I tested and it works fine.

Unfortunately, this is not possible with the standard functionality. This requires customization.

Or you can use the method below to create a Purchase Order, but this will not post at the same time like a Drop Shipment.
