NAV report page is repeated wrongly depends on local computer

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello everyone.

I have developed a NAV 2018 (on premise) report for my customer.

After deploying, among about 10 users, only one user has this situation.

For example, this report actually has only 3 pages.

And total amount is 6996719.

But in that only one user case, when she clicks export to PDF, or Preview,

She gets 5 pages instead of 3.

And in one of those additional pages (here is page 4) , is a repeat of page 1, but Total Amount is double of total amount in page 1.

I told her not to filter anything, but still same problem.

I don't know why only 1 user faces this problem.

Is that because of setting in her local computer?

If you guys have any idea, please kindly let me know.

Thank you very much in advanced.

There are 2 versions of NAV clients: 32bit and 64-bit. You may also have a clickonce deployment. Verify what version you are running, try 32 vs. 64 and see if it makes any difference.

Thanks Mr. Greg V for your reply.

Yes, that user computer is using .NET 4.8 and everything is up to date.

But she is using Office 32 bit, and her windows OS is 64 bit.

Do you think this may be one of the reason?

About NAV installation, I am checking if she is using NAV in her local or she logs in by remote server.

Did you try repairing that user's NAV installation? Also ensure that .NET 4.7 is installed on that machine along with all of the windows updates.
