Is there any example when we can register a plugin with a secondary entity but primary entity as none? Either in online or on-premise.

Hi Amit ,

You can not trigger plugin without defining primary entity , the secondary entity is useful when a primary entity record is associated (SetRelated) or dissociated (RemoveRelation) with or from the secondary entity record.

So both are dependent so there is no online or on-premise concepts is there .

Hi Amit,

No, You cannot register a plugin with just secondry entity. Secondry entity field will only be applicable in the related records triggers.
