How to show only related records in sub-grid

Hello,

I have following issue. I would like to present in "Opportunity" form all records related to certain customer. I've created custom enties like "Leads" and "Public tenders" and I need to show every lead and every public tender related to customer on new opportunity form (after saving it of course).

I've created sub-grid and new view, but I can't handle with them.

When I'm selecting "show only related records" then nothing is shown, but if I would change it to "show every record" then I've got every lead or public tender ever created for every customer.

Please give me a hint :)

    I have a similar requirement can you guide me?

    When a work order is generated in dynamics CRM, and we assign the work order to a resource or multiple resources  ,when the Work order is Completed ,we all know that a Invoice is generated through the Work order. I want to fetch  the Resource details such as "Resource name", "Resource Work hours Logged" and some other details in the Invoice  Form.

    And also if more than one resources has worked on a particular Work order ,I want all of them in the Invoice Form.(Like a Grid) in CRM.

    Same as Bartek. I was trying to show, in a Work Order (Field Service Plugin) the other Work Orders associated to the same Case and the Same Customer Asset.

    Quick Views did the trick!

    Ok I've found a solution.

    1. Create quick view form on Account entity.

    2. Add sub-grid of related records from desired entity (every new entity have relationship with account).

    3. Add created quick view form on specified form which we want to display related to customer records.

    4. Ta-Dah!

    Hi,

    What you're trying to achieve is only possible with custom coding (at least I tested for CRM 2015).

    Option you use (Only Related Records) is filtering leads related to opportunity, not to customer. That's why you cannot see leads, because they are linked to customer, not opportunity.

    There are 3 customers (test, test 2 and test 3) and everyone has two leads. I'm testing it on leads because it has to work on public tenders as well as it will on leads.

    After saving opportunity there is no related leads on grid :(

    once you have saved the opportunity did you add a Public Tener or Lead to it ? This can be done through for example the grid you created or via the related entities menu at the tob of the screen.

    I've created this kind of relationship (on Opportunities N:1 to Leads and Public Tenders) but I still can't receive related records.

    Hi BB,

    Is there a relationship between the custom entities and the opportunity? From opportunity point of view it should be a N:1?

    If you add for example Public tenders to this grid on the opportunity then this "show related records" should work. Can you try?
