Restriction on Purchase/sales documents until the approval is approved

When an approval for document has been submitted, can we put a restriction to the document that a user will not be able to do anything on the PO document like sending email, downloading/printing the document until the approval is approved?

If you enable WORKFLOWS for the purchase/sales documents the user can't edit the document unless the document is "Open". However, if you are looking to put restrictions on emailing, printing - It will be a customization. To the best of my knowledge it is not possible OOTB

Seek assistance from your MS Partner and they can help you get the developers for this Change Request. Should not be a huge change request, a couple of hours at max
