Report not working in application

Hi all,

I have developed a custom report for CRM 2013 on-premise and used filtered views, SQL type connection.

The report works fine when run in visual studio but when i uploaded the same report into CRM application it shows blank data. I am using windows authentication mode for credentials.

Did i miss anything here? Please advise

     it might be the same issue:

     (Resolution part starts half way through the article, it seems)

    I had figured that the connection strings are not working. Below are the steps on what i did.

    1. Once the custom report is developed upload to CRM and make sure it is available for external use

    2. Check the report connection parameters on report server and test it. If it work then its all set else one needs to troubleshoot it.
