Sales Order Must Be Approved and Released

We started receiving this message this afternoon when trying to post sales orders. It was working fine this morning.

"Sales Order XXX must be approved and released before you can perform this action."

Has anyone seen this before? Did a setting get changed somewhere? We have not made any changes to our extensions or made any updates that I'm aware of.

We are on SaaS version 18.3.27240.27381

Hi

Can you please go to Approval User Setup and see if any of users that trying to post sales order are setup here and they have sales amount? If yes remove the sales amount or give them unlimited sales approval.

That is my first guess so far.

Hi

Thank you for checking on that. Can you also please check the workflows to see if any workflow has been Enabled for sales document?

Side note: we are in version 18.3.27240.27381 as well and we do not have the error you mentioned.

Thank you for your help! I don't know how a workflow got enabled, but disabling it worked.
