Hello.
I would like to ask about older versions of Dynamics CRM like 2015 & 2016 if can be GDPR friendly or compliance? Is there any solution than to upgrade to Dynamics 365? Does Microsoft has given any guides for customers that have older versions what to do to be ready for GDPR?
Thanks in advance.

I have the same question (0)my take on this:
if you use Dynamics CRM it is very apparent that you may collect personal data from your clients be it entities like contacts or account, VoC surveys or LinkedIn. All of this collected data must be handled very carefully to ensure that no data breaches occur and that it is handled in a prescribed manner. Dynamics has a very robust security model to deal with this however no system is perfect and every organization should perform a security assessment.
Microsoft CRM will act as a platform and you will have to build features on top of 2016/2015 inorder to get GDPR compliance. If you are using online there are tools to get a report giving you violations.
