Hi,

I have a question regarding business central workflow user group accessibility in which I am currently facing the issue of multiple user's access their related group at a time.

I have 2 groups in my scenario whenever I create request from group 2, So I have to switch my user group from 1 to user group 2 so what should I do if I need both user group access at the same time because my 1st group user is in different city and 2nd group user is in different city and both are the request creator of the purchase order in my company and then there related approvers are assigned.

please suggest me corrective solution for this.

Saqib,

So you have 2 Approval Workflow User Group affiliated with Users, both requester and approver. Each are different. I would create 2 Workflows, for the Same document, but in the Workflow Response for Create an approval request... You will point the Workflow User Group to the correct name. NOTE: I would setup a filter for the Event Condition, that looks at the Assigned User ID and lists the Group 1 Users pointing the correct Workflow Group and the same for Group 2.

Now this sound all good but you can also consider using Power Automate which has more flexibility and could be an easier approach to your workflow. Here is a link to how this works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6yh7-R33W8

Hi Steve,

Thanks For your Responding my question but it is not working, I have tried it out and the request is creating in both workflow user group. so my question is that if my 1st user of the user group 1 create the request so it will go for approval only to the relevant approvers of user group 1 but by using this condition it is sending the request to both group users. so what should I do please help me out of this.
