Can you transfer your existing CRM 4 licence after upgrading to CRM 2016?

Hi,
You cannot transfer a license.
No you cannot transfer a license. You bought a license for CRM 4.0 and unless you have a software assurance agreement with Microsoft or some other construction to pay for the right to update, you do not automatically have a license for 2016.
Sorry i was asking about licence and not how to to perform an upgrade

Transferring license is not possible.
This is how you can upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2016.
1. Upgrade CRM 4.0 to CRM 2011
2. Upgrade CRM 2011 to CRM 2013
3. Upgrade CRM 2013 to CRM 2015
4. Upgrade CRM 2015 to CRM 2016
