We have customized the SOP windows in GP to serve as a POS/CRM screen. It has taken 120+ to get there, and we are trying to get away from that to some degree. If we were to move to a new POS and/or CRM system, we would need it to integrate with GP. I know that Dynamics POS 2009 integrates some of the GL stuff, but we need more than that.
What kind of POS software are other GP users using (if any at all)? How do you handle integration with GP?

I would recommend Dynamics RMS
There is a POS system that can integrate with GP using an integration manager process and a SQL connection. The system is called Retail Edge and is out of Vermont. They have customers that have done this in the past. The POS system is simple and easy to use for multiple registers and store locations.
Hello Matt, did you eventually fins a solution that fully integrates with GP? I am interested in a POS solution for a Media House.
Compass POS has the tightest integration with GP.
