How to Embed a Picture or PDF into an Email Template in CRM

Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering how I can embed a picture or PDF into an email template's body in CRM Dynamics. All help would be most appreciated.

Hello Kimberly,

To insert image into CRM Email Template or workflow Send Email functionality:

1. Open the image in a browser (I only tried Internet Explorer), this image can be in a web page or a direct link.2. Right click and ‘Copy’ the image.3. Open your CRM Email template or the Send Email workflow and ‘Ctrl-V’ to paste the image in.4. Move the image to your desired place, you can even resize the image, however it does not stretch very well.

Is there an easier way to accomplish this other than saving images online? If not, where do you typically save your images? A lot of these are pieces i'm wanting to send are marketing PDFs converted into images... i'm wondering if there is a way to use our public SharePoint site as a place to store these images and then send embedded into CRMs email templates.

There is no direct way in crm to add image to email template body, but we can achieve this by doing below steps:

Create a special page on your website that contains all the graphics that you would like to include in CRM e-mails template body message.

Display a page in any browser.

Right-click on the graphic that you want to insert in your e-mail and choose the “copy” option.

Position the cursor in your CRM e-mail template body message to where you’d like to place the graphics and paste it.

The graphic will now appear in your e-mail template body message.

I can easily help. There is a tool which allows you to completely individualize your E-Mail templates. You can even ad more informations to your mail like barcodes and geo locations and many more.

Hi,

Either use SSRS report and then generate PDF using that . Either you have to create html and then generate PDF using ITextSharp DLL. In same way you need to generate email html template use string 64 bit data as image src.

Would be great if the feature to use images in E-Mails was easy built in in Dynamics CRM/365.

We Need the same feature and I created a suggestion for this feature some days ago. Would be great if you could vote & comment on the idea so we can collect all votes in the same place. That will be easy to embed the picture in the Email folder to attach the files and then can send that pictures to anyone. Last Thursday I have attached and embed pictures of notes for essay service reviews ID to send for the reviews by them.
