Error in Action for missing values

dear all

i have one "Action" which retrieves 6 EntityReferences from opportunity entity, this works fine if all 6 EntityReferences have values on the said opportunity, but if one of those field is empty, then i receive the following error:

Entity Reference cannot have Id and Key Attributes empty. If you contact support, please provide the technical details.

knowing that all parameters in the action are not "Required" by definition.

    Hi Ahmad ,

    I guess this is expected.  If I am not wrong  you are updating table after getting entity reference . So check which table you are updating with the output entity reference.

    How are you attempting to use those EntityReference outputs? Is something else, downstream, expecting a non-null EntityReference? Not quite clear, from your screenshots.

    i am not updating any thing, i am just calling this action in some CASES where i need to get the information of other related cases (these information are on opportunity but i am accessing it from CASE).

    in another words, i do have an  opportunity with 6 lookup fields for 6 related cases(like child or related cases).

    so in some scenarios, while being on one of these 6 cases, i send an email to owner of (for example) case#4 and i reactivate case#2.. so that is why i am using this action to retrieve the information of the other related cases.
