Engineering change management for process mfg

have been trying for ECM for formula products.. we are not tracking versions at transaction levels. 
However stuck at an error while /processing/ engineering change order.
 
I am following steps from 
 
 
Tried these steps for BOM product and it worked but not for formula products
 
error getting - /Processing BOM table and BOM version for item xyz/
 
Field 'BOM' must be filled in.
 
 
Field 'Formula' must be filled in.
 
 
Site mismatch. Site on the BOM does not match the site on the BOM line.
I have the same question (0)

    Have you enabled the feature for formulas in engineering change management as described on the next page? This page might have some more hints for you.

    can you check if the number sequences for BOM / Formula are set to manual?

    Did you figure out the solution?  I have the exact same issue in a Contoso environment.  I checked the number sequence and Feature activation as mentionned in the other responses; all is OK.  But when I click Process I get the same errors as you mentionned.


    NEVERMIND:  I checked number sequence for BOM which was fine.  But number sequence for formula was set to MANUAL setting it to automatic fixed the issue
