Dynamics for restaurants?

Hello my name is Javier and I own several restaurants in Guadalajara Mexico.

As of now, I’m having a lot of trouble with my Actual POS and CRM/ERP.

I was researching and i found out about Dynamics and I have some questions:

Does Microsoft Dynamics has a POS tool that works for restaurants (taking in consideration that a restaurant doesn’t make simple transactions, like adding extras or making notes, like having your Meat served medium rare or well done)?

In Case that it does not have this Tool, does it communicate with other POS?

Hi, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail has Point of Sale software, that can work for restaurants.

You can ask Microsoft for Trial version (lasts 1 month), that allows you to find out, if it is suitable for you or not.

I would say that standard POS can miss some restaurant related features - but there are Add-ons created by Microsoft partners specially for restaurants to fill the gaps and also you/your inhouse developers/implementation partner you select can extend standard POS by new features - its extensibility platform is rich

Hi Javier,

Yes, the requirement you are telling is possible within the POS of Microsoft. We need to add custom codes for the event such as orders and stuff. But if you say about proper restaurant management, just like Oksana said the capability is their but we will have to built custom add on or restaurant related verticals for this.

Do get in touch with the partners located in the area, they must be having a Restaurant related ISV solution.
