'Guided Help' in CRM Solutions list

Our Dynamics CRM 2016 Online got upgraded to (8.1.0.362) (DB 8.1.0.362) [Dynamics CRM Online 2016 Update 1] over the weekend. On checking the list of solutions this morning, there seems to be a new solution titled 'GuidedHelp' with version number 1.1.0.0.

Does anyone know if this solution is part of the upgrade and what does it offer? Does it need to be kept installed in this list?

Yes it is part of the upgrade.

The Solution is from Microsoft exactly for feature named “Guided Help” You can read details about this from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics/crm-customer-center/what-s-new.aspx#ProductivityFeatures  and/or watch this short video to know more about what this brings from here  https://www.youtube.com/embed/-uCxzk3CtfY?rel=0

GuidedHelp  Managed solution is similar to “ActivityFeedsCore” managed solution and the only difference is the later is not visible on UI from list of solutions. The GuidedHelp solution is very light in terms of customization and it does help you in user adoptions.

    Hi

We have the same problem.  We are on the same version of CRM 2016 on premise (8.1.0.359) that we can not import customisations into CRM Online because GuidedHelp Managed solution does not exist...

    Can anyone help?

How do you uninstall it? If you try to delete the solution, it gives an error about web recourses and will not let you delete it.

I mean the problem to import the Default solution getting the dependency error. I am having the same problem importing a default solution that I am trying to move from Premise to Crm online with no luck.

I did get round this problem, basically you need to edit the Solutions.xml file in the solutions zip and remove all the references to 'GuidedHelp', once all references are removed the solution should import fine (did for me anyway).
