Server Side Synchronization Question - isolate these emails

We turned server side sync on previously and now want to turn it off and delete all emails that were synced via this process.  Is it true that server side sync email messages do NOT get a token?  If this is true we could write a bulk delete job to delete all emails that do not have a token in the message (this would retain any manually tracked emails).

The reason we are doing this is the server side sync is tracking everything, private intra-office conversations, and other emails that have nothing to do with external contacts/accounts.
