SO FRUSTRATED with updating Price Lists with discount breaks!!! PLEASE HELP!

Hello,

I'm trying to mass update pricing (Currency Amount) for our inventory but am having trouble. Integration manager wont work with our setup because we are wholesale and have pricing breaks at difference  quantities, and Integration Manager through eConnect only works through "Insert", no update.

There's GOT to be an easier way! I have all the item #s, price level, quantity to/from, and price all in CSV file (just like how the IV00108 table is laid out, minus the DEX TS & ROW ID); but can't figure out a way to import it into GP. I tried just updating IV00108 in SQL through a bulk insert from the CSV file but am getting errors (plus its probably not good habit). Maybe I'm writing the script wrong? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP? Thanks!

Seems like I've done this in the past but it would have been through Dexterity not SQL so I would not have a script for you even if I could find it.

A couple things on this come to mind though.

There are two tables which have a 1 to 1 relationship on a price list that would need to be updated, IV00108 and also IV00107.  The 107 table is IV Price List Options and it tells GP how to read the record out of the 108 table.  If you use multi currency (even if it just enabled regardless of you using it) then you also would need to insert into the IV00105 table so GP could validate the currency and default a price.  I think if you query against these two (or three) tables for an item you can see how the values are stored.

Also, if you load the SDK (located on disk 2, additional products, DSDK folder) you will find the fields in these tables well described as to what you need to bring in.

    Good luck,

    Tim

    Hi.

Were you able to do this back in 2012?  I really need help!

    Hi,

I think Tim has given you the best advice. I just looked at the SDK and they go over in detail how you should import Price Lists. I understand you need to update your price lists, but there is sufficient information regarding the tables for you to craft a SQL update statement:

There is also a third party module from the folks (Myridas) that wrote Extended pricing.
